A big trip like this takes a lot of planning. We originally planned to return to the UK after our wedding in September 2003. We always wanted to travel back via South East Asia. But both of us were quite happy at work and had professional opportunities on the horizon, so we stuck it out a year longer and developed out plans.
Our original 3 month SE Asia trip slowly grew into 6+ months that would also take in China, Tibet, Nepal and India.
